Our Founder
Mr. Henry Ong Peng Wee, the founder of Roc Equity Partners, is dedicated to assisting fast-growing medium-sized companies in achieving success in today’s highly competitive landscape.
Henry holds esteemed professional designations, including Chartered Accountant (CA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and Chartered Valuer and Appraisal (CVA). He earned a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University, as well as a Professional Certificate in Strategic Management from the Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, Henry has completed certificates in Disruptive Strategies from Harvard Business School, Strategy Implementation from Copenhagen Business School, and the Business Planning for Success Program from the International Business and Management Education Centre. He is also an accredited and certified trainer.
With over 20 years of experience in corporate finance advisory, valuation, strategic planning, investments, business process management, management, and trading, Henry has provided guidance to numerous state-owned, public, and private enterprises in mergers and acquisitions, investments, IPOs, strategic planning, valuations, and capital raising. The cumulative value of the projects he has been involved in exceeds several billion dollars. His expertise spans across various industries, including financial services, airports, utilities, education, technology, industrial manufacturing, FMCG companies, real estate, transport, and business services. Henry has received corporate finance and valuation training in Germany, the USA, and the UK.
Prior to establishing Roc Equity Partners, Henry held directorship positions at Deloitte & Touche Financial Advisory Limited in China and Grant Thornton Corporate Finance Pte Ltd in Singapore. At Grant Thornton, he successfully initiated and developed the corporate finance division, positioning it as a prominent player in the industry.
Driven by a deep passion for education, Henry obtained an Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment to enhance his skills as a trainer. He strongly believes that education is a powerful equalizer and advocates for providing access to the best education possible for all individuals. As part of his work, Henry conducts regular training sessions on strategic planning, trading, financial management, and market research for corporate executives.
Henry has authored articles on valuation and corporate finance, which have been published in various newspapers and publications.

V. Frondoso, Valuation Associate Partner
Frondoso has more than 20 years of experience in finance and accounting including years of experience as financial management positions with Colgate-Palmolive and international accounting firms such as KPMG. She is very experienced in valuation, financial analysis and market research. Frondoso is a Chartered Public Accountant and holds a MBA.
Josh Cui – M&A Partner
Josh has more than 12 years of experience in corporate finance, accounting and audit. Prior to this, he was CFO for public listed and large private companies in various consumer industries. He also has experience with Hong Kong and NASDAQ listings. Josh is Chartered Accountant in Singapore and has a Bachelors of Business degree in Accountancy.
LZ Ning – Senior Corporate Finance Associate
Ning has more than 10 years of experience in corporate finance and accounting. She has in depth experience in treasury and corporate finance operations with large local Temasek linked companies such as Singtel, Sembcorp and SIA. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst graduate and holds a degree in Business Admin from NUS.
